Elementary Robotics

Moore County Schools offers several opportunities for students to use robotics at every elementary school. Students in K-2 learn programming using the Dash robot, Lego WeDo and Bee-Bots. Our students in grades 3-5 use the Lego EV3, Sphero and drones in the classroom and through after school clubs. Robotics within our district has grown so much that many elementary schools must offer an application process for students to be a member of a robotic team.

Middle School Robotics

Our middle school students have the opportunity to participate in the district middle school competition or First Lego League (FLL) competitions.  Robotics is offered through regular classroom instruction, FLEX periods, or through afterschool programs.
